Due to my holiday we are a little later than usual with the Maps of the (previous) Month, but that doesn’t mean we are going to skip them. The maps created in our community are just too wonderful not to share them. As always, this is is just a small, pretyt random collection of maps that caought my eye. Ricken used Pär Lindström regional style n the black and white version and combined it wit a couple symbols from Mike Schley to create this stylish map of the Ravenloft Subcontinent.

It is high-time we announce the Master Mapper award for 2020, though with all the wonderful community activity going on, it’s not been an easy choice this year. One mapper stood out for us though, not only because of the sheer amount of wonderful maps they created, but also due to their helpfulness to other mappers, as well as the inventiveness their map-making showed. It’s our forum member Alastair McBeath (Wyvern), who we name Master Mapper of 2020. Congratulations and thanks!

Alastair has been with us on the community forum since 2013, and the number of maps he has shared since then is innumerable. With the Master Mapper title we want to specifically thank him for:

• Creating many beautiful and innovative maps and sharing them with the community.
• Lively discussions, active help and always being welcoming in the Profantasy community.
• Coming up with new ways to use Campaign Cartographer’s tools and assets, and sharing these with his fellow map-makers.
• Contributing to the toolset of Campaign Cartographer via the Cartographer’s Annual.

So, thank you, Alastair, we are looking forward to all the future maps you will come up with!

“Schopp und Umland” by Ute Gundacker is a WW2-style map from an actual village in my home country, so I really needed to include this, even if it had been any less beautiful.

Calibre is so prolific, and creates such beautiful maps, that I had to include two of them for the August gallery.

I had real trouble limiting myself when choosing maps from the community for the Maps of the Month post for May, so there are quite a few more than usually. Check out what lovely work our mappers produced, it is incredible (and only the tip of the iceberg).

If you remeber the old dread gazebo D&D anecdote, you will probably get a little extra chuckle out of this little map by Daniel Pereda de Pablo (dapereda), created with the Mike Schley symbol sets.

It is time again for me to look though the many wonderful maps the Profantasy user community shared last month. It is quite a difficult task sorting through all the posts on the community forum and the Facebook group, trying to decide which to highlight, but it is anything but a chore. Such a joy to see all that creativity. I hope you like the few I can show off here and take a look through all the rest yourself!

Community regular Quenten Walker created this map of a Ruined Crypt and used the Token Treasury to highlight some of the monster found within. I really love the creature images by Rich Longmore and am excited to see them used like this.

February saw many great maps posted in our community, many of them for the 500th Atlas Map competition that was running during the month. You can check those out (and vote for your favorites) here, so I won’t repeat them in this collection and showcase a few others instead.

November has come and gone and produced another fine crop of user maps on both the Profantasy forum and in the CC3+ FB Group. Here is a very small selection of them presented as the November installment of our popular Maps of the Month blog.

Near the beginning of the month Loopysue completed a map that Jerry Thiel started some time ago. Jerry is sadly no longer able to map but still finds pleasure in writing game scenarios. The Lakes of Michigami is a fantasy version of a real world location intended as the main campaign map.
