Perspectives Proof of Concept

We weren’t sure if Perspectives would make it through to version 3, but with this proof of concept, I think it’s clear it’s worthwhile. More detail in another post.

  1. THAT looks sharp! If it does make it into CC3 I’ll be counting the days to update my Perspectives Pro 🙂

  2. Top cool ! Can’t wait for it too. Hope you’ll make it !

  3. Honestly, I’ve never been very excited about perspectives, but after seeing this I think I’d buy v3 when it comes out.

I would like to see more depth to the doors but otherwise this looks beautiful!

  4. Good 3D representation of the room although as Old Guy points out it would benefit from shading to give depth to the doors. Also would it be possible to give textures to walls and floor? The lines look too clean to be ‘real’ at the moment and all the ‘furniture’ looks brand new rather than aged…

  5. The doors are stand-ins by old Perspectives vector symbols – we didn’t have any bitmap versions yet. It’s just a proof of concept.

  6. Looks Great.
I love perspectives. It looks much more interesting than flat maps when you want to show your players a building.

  7. Looks good, when this makes it into a full fledged released product it’ll end up on my shopping list.

  8. Looks very nice Simon 🙂

    This looks sweet indeed.

  10. Once again, you show just how great the Profantasy line of products is the way to go. Wish I could order it today.

  11. Perspectives = isometric view (or isometric projection) at least in the PC/Console gaming world.
