Sven Lugar has created some excellent historical maps with CC3 at both miniature and non-minature scale. You can see a wide selection here on his website.

    This looks like a very useful mapping technique with the items of lesser importance drawn in ‘faded’ colours and the important items (in this case military units) in bold.

    I think I’ll try this on adventure maps so that key items stand out. Pity the maps aren’t in CC3 format where I can see(crib) exactly how its done!
