Spiel’10

Each year in October a medium-sized city in Germany’s Ruhr area becomes the mecca of boardgamers around the world: The “Internationale Spieltage SPIEL 2010” or “Spiel” for short open its doors.

With about 150.000 attendees this is the world’s biggest games fair, and while boardgaming is its major focus, role-playing games are always an important part of the whole affair.

As such ProFantasy – meaning the author of this post in particular – is always thrilled to be a part of the event. Our booth in hall 6 (the hall for role-playing and miniature games) has been a fixture for more than 10 years.* It’s always a pleasure to chat with old customers, meet people you only know from mailing lists and forum and show new users what CC3 and its add-ons can do.

So if you’re in Essen this year, stop by in hall 6 at booth 6-705 and say hi!

*We actually can’t quite remember when ProFantasy first attended Essen. It was in 2000 at the latest, but it may have been even earlier. If you remember us at the show in years before 2000 – or even better, have a picture – let us know.
