Welcome dear cartographers to the latest monthly community maps, i.e. the Maps of the Month from May. Thank you for all your great contributions to our forum and the Facebook group, I was really amazed how many maps I had to look though this month!
We start of with a map in the latest overland style from the Cartographer’s Annual (Handdrawn Fantasy). Ricko Hasche put together this lovely example map, thank you for that!
And then we have a second map from Ricko for the Community Atlas, using the Mike Schley overland style.
Calibre continued working on his world map of Estonisch in Sue Daniel’s Birdseye Continental overland style.
I was very happ to see Daniel Pereda de Pablo back with some of his awesome battle maps like this colorful autumn glade in the Dungeons of Schley style.
Duane Wilkey continues sharing the wonderful town and village maps done in Cities of Schley. Here is just one the town of Zonden.
Eric McNeal shared his Western Realms map in the Ancient Realms Revisited style.
Here is another great, generally useful map of an oasis by DM Geezer Jim.
Grimur Fjeldsted also took the opportunity to create a map of the Highmarch of Karneid in the new Handdrawn Fantasy overland style.
Jeffrey Reed used a real-world building floorplan to draw this beautiful map of an alchemist’s shop, the Whispering Vial. Great work!
For short (or rather very long) journey into outer space, we stop at KertDawg‘s Asteroid Base.
Landorl68 produced this wonderful big map of the City of Baylor using the Watabou City Revised style from last year’s Annnual.
Mathieu Gans shared a whole range of Character Artist 3 character designs. Shared here is only one, see all the rest by clicking the image and following the link.
Royal Scribe regularly redoes his Republic of Lumadair map in a new mapping style, this time in the Handrawn Fantasy one.
For something a little different and more modern, take a look at Ryan Thomas’ city map of Smokey Hollow, PA using City Designer 3 to create it.
Stephen St John apparently started a campaign to retake Rhudaur at the orders of King Elessar and of course needed some maps. So he created one using the Forest Trail style.
