Hello fellow map-makers! We have a wonderful new collection of user-contributed maps for you, all shared with the community in August. Thanks everybody for showing of your awesome work on the ProFantasy forum and/or the Facebook group!
Kevin Goebel used the Spectrum Overland style to map the Gold Coast of his fantasy world. It’s just one of several versions of the map in the same group post, which show up various kinds of information.
Daniel Pereda de Pablo‘s black & white map of a cave system was constructed using the Inked Ruins style of the Annual 2023.
Matt Finch‘s city neighbourhood along a river comes without a name or labels, but that makes it supremely useful to drop into any game where you might need a similar place. It as drawn using mostly Symbol Set 5: Cities of Schley.
I’m a sucker for Middle-earth maps and the style created by Pete Fenlon, so I love whit2468‘s map of NE Eriador to bits. I’m not even sure it’s done in the Pete Fenlon Revisited style we have available, or completely created from scratch.
Ute Gundacker created another of her modern-day maps, showing locations on Mount Washington for a Halloween game. It wonder what scary things will happen there!
Grimur Fjeldsted‘s map here is not really new in itself, but the interactive map project he has created from it over on the Mapventures website is. Check it out for the wonderful interactivity and the many places it highlights.
Talaraska is always good for another generic, but wonderfully useful battle map. Who couldn’t use a forest campsite in their game at one point or another? This one was created using Symbol Set 4 – Dungeons of Schley.
Royal Scribe was exceedingly prolific last month, and here is only one of the many maps he has shared, showing the town of Fon’Anor, with many elvish tree houses from Symbol Set 5: Cities of Schley included.
And who better than Ricko Hasche to showcase August’s free monthly symbols, combining them into a beautiful scene of the town of Chotlan.
