Maps of the Month – April 2018

Hm, what to pick from the huge amount of beautiful maps posted over the last month!? This is really the toughest job, let’s see…

Gurnic: A Kingdom in Erdan’s World
by Medio is a gorgeous use of the DeRust overland style from the Annual Vol 7 with some custom symbols added.

Iron Haven
by kevbeck43 use a basic City Designer 3 style for great effect, creating a bold and striking city layout.

A literati-style hanging scroll
by Charles Wayne Robinson is an inspiring example of creating materials outside the usual map paradigm with CC3+ and in this case the Empire of the Sun drawing style from the Annual Vol 10.

Island and Coastal Cities
Sean A Pagano posted these over on the Facebook User Community. They use another City Designer 3 with varied coastlines and contours to achieve their unique look.

Northern Earlsdale
Grimur Fjeldsted shows off his craft in this Mike Schley Overland style map (straight from CC3+). By rescaling his mountains and adding special labels, he makes this map strongly stand out from other maps drawn in the same style.
